Everything’s Pretty, Even if it Hurts

Everything’s Pretty, Even if it Hurts is a self-portrait project born from the pain and depression of a past relationship. Instead of lingering in the shadows of that hurt, I've channeled its energy into something beautiful. Through the lens, I’ve transformed miscommunication into waterfalls of hope, hidden love into exhilaration, and unhappiness into delight, using bright colors, lustrous props, and vibrant lighting. Creating these photographs has not only helped me grow as an artist and individual but also serves as a reminder to others that pain can be a catalyst for creativity and a deeper sense of aliveness.
